Before artist/fine art photographer, Claire Rosen packed up her wonderful carriage house in NJ to move on to a new place, I got to pay her a visit. Her collections, so strategically and lovingly placed throughout her studio, are pieces of her life that are also used throughout her work. Claire’s aesthetic is purely vintage, an old soul from another era. These props she has amassed over time are clear markers of her tastes and interests. From taxidermy to clocks to cloches with dried botanicals to brushes and books, all such visual interest. Claire pieces together vignettes that are swoon worthy.
